学科简介

河海大学新能源科学与工程学科是积极响应国家碳达峰碳中和发展战略、服务能源升级转型和新能源行业发展的重大应用需求,依托河海大学行业特色优势设立的新兴学科领域。新能源科学与工程学科是电气工程一级学科下增设的二级博士点,2021年设立,通过与水利工程、电气工程、动力工程及工程热物理、力学、机械工程等学科交叉,以基础理论方法共性支撑技术应用引领技术为主线,形成新能源+水电+电气交叉学科特色。

学科有“国家风力发电技术创新中心”、“教育部可再生能源发电技术工程研究中心”、“江苏省输配电装备技术重点实验室”、“江苏省配用电与能效工程技术研究中心”、“水利部水工金属结构安全监测中心”、“水力机械实验中心”以及“流体机械仿真实验室”等。本学科师资队伍结构合理,可保障学科的可持续性发展。学科现有教师60余名,来自国内外近20所高校,其中绝大多数具有博士学位,超过六成拥有海外留学经历。教师队伍中包括国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、国家优秀青年科学基金获得者,以及青年拔尖人才支持计划获得者数名。近年来,团队荣获多项省部级和市厅级科研奖项。

本学科紧紧围绕国家能源清洁化发展战略和“一带一路”发展战略重大需求,从风能与系统、太阳能与系统、储能与系统、多能互补与综合能源、新能源与水能综合利用等5个学科方向开展系统研究,在新能源科学与工程领域的基础研究、应用研究、高新技术开发和产业化等方面取得显著成果。学科科研经费年均亿元以上,主持多项国家重点研发计划项目和国家自然科学基金重点项目;获得国家科技进步奖二等奖以及多项省部级奖。毕业生主要分布在电力公司、设计院、大型国企、科研院所和高等学校。

Discipline Overview

New Energy Science and Engineering of Hohai University is an emerging discipline field established based on Hohai University's industrial characteristics and advantages in response to the national carbon peak and carbon neutral development strategy, and to serve the energy upgrading and transformation and the development of the new energy industry with significant application needs. New Energy Science and Engineering is a second-level doctoral program under the first-level discipline of electrical engineering, established in 2021, through the intersection of water conservancy engineering, electrical engineering, power engineering and engineering thermophysics, mechanics, mechanical engineering and other disciplines, with “basic theory and methodology-common-supporting technology-application leading technology” as the main line, and “basic theory and methodology-common-supporting technology-application leading technology” as the main line. Through the intersection with hydraulic engineering, electrical engineering, power engineering and engineering thermophysics, mechanics, mechanical engineering and other disciplines, and with the main line of “basic theoretical methods - common supporting technology - application-oriented technology”, the program has formed the cross-disciplinary characteristics of “new energy + hydropower + electrical”.

There are “National Wind Power Technology Innovation Center”“New Energy Power Generation and Smart Grid Discipline Innovation Intellectual Base”, “Renewable Energy Power Generation Technology Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education”, “Key Laboratory of Transmission and Distribution Equipment Technology of Jiangsu Province”, “Jiangsu Power Distribution and Energy Efficiency Engineering Research Center”, “Hydraulic Machinery Experimental Center of the Ministry of Water Resources ”, “Jiangsu Power Distribution and Energy Efficiency Engineering Technology Research Center”, “Hydraulic Metal Structure Safety Supervision Center of the Ministry of Water Resources”, “Hydraulic Machinery Experiment Center “and “Fluid Machinery Simulation Laboratory”. The structure of the faculty is reasonable, which can guarantee the sustainable development of the discipline. The discipline currently has more than 60 faculty members graduated from nearly 20 domestic and international universities, with most holding doctoral degrees and more than 60% having overseas study experience. The faculty includes recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, recipients of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, and recipients of the Young Talents Support Program. Over the past three years, they have won provincial/ministerial-level awards and municipal/bureau-level awards.

Focusing on the major needs of the national energy clean development strategy and the Belt and Road development strategy, this discipline carries out systematic research from five disciplines including wind energy and system, solar energy and system, energy storage and system, multi-energy complementary and comprehensive energy, and comprehensive utilization of new energy and water energy. Remarkable achievements have been made in basic research, applied research, high-tech development and industrialization in the field of new energy science and engineering. The annual research funding for the discipline exceeds 100 million yuan, with the undertaking of several key national research and development projects and major projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The institution has been awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, along with numerous provincial and ministerial level awards. The graduates are mainly distributed in power companies, design institutes, large state-owned enterprises, research institutes and universities.

The discipline of Renewable Energy Science and Engineering belongs to the first-class discipline authorization point of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermal physics. Established in 2011, the institution currently has more than thirty faculty members, with approximately ten professors and around ten associate professors. The major focuses on various renewable energy generation fields such as wind energy, solar energy, hydrogen energy, and energy storage, covering the research direction of talent cultivation in 1) Wind energy and system, 2) Solar energy and system, 3) Energy storage and system, and 4) Multi-energy complementary and comprehensive energy and other fields. The employment rate of graduate students in this discipline has been kept at 100% for many years.
